Kakadu hats - how to measure your head

Wrap a tape measure or a piece of string (if you use string, you'll need a ruler as well) around your head so that it is above your eyebrows and about 1cm / half and inch above your ears. No need to pull too tight - remember you want your hat to be comfy!

There are some slight variations in size depending on the fabric used for the hat - thicker materials mean the hat fit will be a bit tighter and thin fabrics a bit touch looser

The Uluroo is made from embossed Kangaroo giving a pebble effect allowing for subtle highs and lows in its depth of colour. This kangaroo leather is ultralight and durable and is perfect for warmer climates, especially since it is rated with an Ultraviolet Protection Factor of 50+. The lowered pinched crown made from the Snuff pebble Roo leather means its super comfy and the medium brim will keep you shady throughout the day.

Kangaroo leather

Boasting seven times the tensile strength of bovine leather at the equivalent thickness, kangaroo leather is a remarkably strong yet thin, durable and lightweight leather sourced from kangaroo hides

Care

Do not wash or dry clean – brush off dirt with a soft brush or wipe clean with a damp cloth. Periodically apply leather conditioners to maintain flexibility and prevent drying out.
Avoid leaving leather goods in a hot car where the high temperatures may affect the quality and finish of the leather.
A good rule of thumb is - if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot for your hat!
