Description

Standard issue workhorse gear for the cold. Can't beat this solid unit first thing in the morning when there's a nip in the air.

The tightly-woven Australian Oilskin canvas presents a nearly impenetrable barrier to thorns, brush and abrasion, and its oil finish, shrugs off water and mud while the sherpa lining keeps your body warm. It sports a drop tail back and adjustable tabs to cinch the waist in if necessary . The stand-up collar keeps the neck protected while the front storm placket re-enforces that no cold air creeps in. We kept it clean by adding 2 welted handwarmer pockets with security pockets on the inside. This is a bare essential winter vest staple.

Yep it’s doing the job I bought it for here in the lucky country. Not quite as good as the one I have at home on the big island to the east. My one there has wider shoulder tops and a bigger bum flat but all things considered it will do.

After long search finally vest that is ticking most of the boxes. Good material, decent amount of pockets, comfortable. Only downsize is Velcro on pockets as after few months of use it becomes useless and some pockets aren't secure any more. If possible put some push buttons on pockets. Or have conversation with manufacturer in India to start putting better velcro. Regards

minor hickup great product

well this will be my 7th kakadu vest in ten years not to reflect poorly on the product quality by any means my line of work is very harsh these vests are very durable and beautiful and warm in the cooler weather the kakadu are agreat team to deal with and wuick to resolve any isses looking forward to carrying the name of this great aussie company for many years to come
