But first things first, lets determine your correct size. Remember you want comfortably firm

Kakadu hats - how to measure your head

Wrap a tape measure or a piece of string (if you use string, you'll need a ruler as well) around your head so that it is above your eyebrows and about 1cm / half and inch above your ears. No need to pull too tight - remember you want your hat to be comfy!
Follow the size guide below to help determine your size.
There are some slight variations in size depending on the fabric used for the hat - thicker materials mean the hat fit will be a bit tighter and thin fabrics a bit touch looser

BELT SIZE GUIDE

Step 1: Decide Where You Wear Your Belt

Think about whether your belt will sit on your hips or waist. This will affect the size you need, as these areas might differ in size.

Step 2: Measure an Existing Belt

If you have a belt that fits well, lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the point where the buckle meets the leather to the hole middle belt hole. This gives you your belt length.

Step 3: Measure Your Body

Wrap the measuring tape around your waist or hips where your belt would normally sit. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight and that it’s parallel to the floor for accuracy.

Dry waxed canvas

Durable 100% densely woven cotton canvas treated with a specially formulated dry wax to repel wind and water. Dry waxed canvas has a matte, non-greasy finish that is highly durable, suitable for rugged outdoor use and stylish enough for urban environments

Care

Do not wash or dry clean – brush off dirt and debris with a soft brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Apply dry wax periodically to maintain water resistance and restore the fabric's finish.
Avoid leaving dry waxed goods in a hot car where the high temperatures may affect the quality and finish.
A good rule of thumb is - if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot for your hat!

This Pilbara jacket is THE best jacket I have ever spent money on. Big statement, I'm an older Aussie, ex military, bushman, station worker, mine worker etc. Have owned dozens of great jackets over many decades.. M65 Arcterex(expensive) dry-z-bone, too many to count.
But here at Kakadu someone has done the impossible right from the design board this jacket was given a long list of positive features you can't even find on designer names & expensive!! jackets there are so many even Kakadu can't list them all.. "cathedral arch" arm pit to give more room and movement (working movement) as well as a gusseted back of shoulder design again great range of movement, also room to move / work in, as in real world activities that make this jacket the most comfortable I have ever seen. I'm 170cm.. 77kg and M was a perfect fit. Not for a fashion statement or walking through the mall on the weekend but for work, for life, for travel this jacket brakes records.. seriously great design & construction the material Dry Wax is perfect great weight awesome feel will last for decades. So impressed, thanks heaps Kakadu.
