Description

Why would you buy the Iron Bark instead of the Workhorse Drover - because you can!

This beauty comes with all the bells & whistles , brass hardware, cowhide collar and cuffs, detachable cape, double snap down storm plackets, bottom front riveted, snap-down flaps over the large bellow pocket bags. Side entry hand warmer pockets, and then when you need to get to gear under your coat we have built into the side seam covered entries. Again like our other oilskin garments its buggy lined with 100% cotton, stencil printed, two internal security pockets and our unique button-in lining facility. The back of the coat houses the snap close fantail, and internal riding straps.

The Iron Bark Drover is a 2-in-1 full-length coat that is accented with a cowhide leather collar and cuffs. Made from the Kakadu's signature 12oz. MicroWax oilskin that is renowned for its ability to shield against the elements, it has a double storm front closure to repel wind, the drawcord waist traps in the warmth and the extra length keeps your legs dry. The cape detaches and transforms the coat into a classic trench. It has two snap-down lower flap pockets with side entry, side access vents so you can access pants pockets with ease, and two internal pockets to store small personal items. Cotton lined with Australia map print. Fabric

Material & Care

Oilskin

Heavy-duty cotton canvas impregnated with oils and waxes which is wind and water resistant yet breathable. It is durable and ideal for outdoor use, with a distinctive rugged texture that ages beautifully over time

Care
  • Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag or a spray with a hose if it's really dirty.
  • Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance.
  • To prevent the transfer of oils, avoid prolonged contact between oilskin goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.
  • When not in use for prolonged periods, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fabric’s quality and functionality.

Still good value for the money

I have waited a while now for this trench coat unfortunately I have had to get the length shortened and the sleeves also but think this is a great coat as I already have drover jacket can’t wait till I can get the drovers coat when it comes out in black
The down side is I had to pay £100 to get it into the country

Great quality

I ordered my a drovers coat a couple of weeks ago. It arrived rather promptly and in perfect condition. My husband loves it and it is a great quality coat. It is really good that there is a lighter weight lining as we live up in central Queensland so that suits the weather up here better than a flannelette lining. Very happy with the product.
