The Workhorse Vest is built for real graft from paddock runs in Tamworth to windy mornings on the Nullarbor. Heavy duty oilskin keeps the weather off your chest without cooking you alive. The chest zip pocket is sized for your phone or small gear with hand pockets for the daily load. Works as a tough outer layer or an under jacket booster when the cold bites.

Oilskin

Heavy-duty cotton canvas impregnated with oils and waxes which is wind and water resistant yet breathable. It is durable and ideal for outdoor use, with a distinctive rugged texture that ages beautifully over time

Care

Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag or a spray with a hose if it's really dirty.
Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance.
To prevent the transfer of oils, avoid prolonged contact between oilskin goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.
When not in use for prolonged periods, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fabric’s quality and functionality.

Well made Workhorse Vest with zip pocket

Again, great service, but even better, these new Workhorse Vests with zip pocket are a great improvement on the previous Workhorse Vests (I have the Black in M) & have added the Olive Green & Tobacco vests this year (in S that fits me better to my liking). The YKK zips are much better now, plus having that external zipped pocket as well as in internal one, plus the deep velcro pocket (not forgetting the handwarmer pockets).
These WH vests will be appreciated again in the cooler breezy Spring mornings as we walk our dogs.
