Kakadu hats - how to measure your head

Wrap a tape measure or a piece of string (if you use string, you'll need a ruler as well) around your head so that it is above your eyebrows and about 1cm / half and inch above your ears. No need to pull too tight - remember you want your hat to be comfy!

There are some slight variations in size depending on the fabric used for the hat - thicker materials mean the hat fit will be a bit tighter and thin fabrics a bit touch looser

Material & Care

Mossback Suede

Premium quality bovine leather where the topside has a velvet like texture, giving it a soft handle. The underside of the hide is buffed to provide shape and stability to the hat.

Care

Do not wash or dry clean – gently brush to remove dirt and restore nap.
Use a suede eraser or brush for marks.
Waterproofing sprays may be used to enhance water and stain resistance.

Queenslander.

Around twenty years ago I walked by a Queeslander hat on a stand in an outdoor clothes shop. I dropped it on my head and it fitted perfecty. It's how you should choose a hat. Just taken delivery of my fourth and fifth Queenslanders. Worn every day I eventually wear them out but wont be without one nowadays. Copes brilliantly with English weather. Doesn't let water through for over an hour in a normal downpour over here. I've got one for posh now too. Love 'em, even though I have to get them from Oz as we have very few dealers over here.
